With a rich history spanning 90 years, the firm (and its predecessors) have cultivated a well-established reputation for delivering reliable and comprehensive legal advice tailored to each client's unique needs. Austin Giugni Martin Lawyers are proud to represent a diverse range of local, national and international families & businesses.
The roots of our legacy trace back to the 1930s in Sydney, where Reginald Gates and his wife Gwen Moffit founded our predecessor firm, Gates Moffit. Over the decades, the firm expanded, establishing an Eastwood branch in the 1950s.
The Eastwood branch flourished, and was succeeded by Thomas Curran and Kenneth Austin in the 1960s when Reginald Gates retired. Although the city branch closed in the early 1970s, the Eastwood branch continued to thrive, clients appreciating the approachability, accessibility and excellent results provided.
Michael Giugni became a partner of the firm in 1992. The practice continued as Gates Moffit until 2004 when the firm name was changed to Austin & Giugni.
Kenneth Austin retired in 2014, at which time Jessica Martin, a senior solicitor and long-time associate of Austin Giugni, joined Michael Giugni as a partner and the firm became known as “Austin Giugni Martin”.
